Join us for an engaging three-hour wine class in the heart of Split and discover why Croatia is one of Europe’s most exciting wine destinations.

Led in English by a professional sommelier, this experience introduces guests to 8 or 12 carefully selected wines representing the best of Dalmatia. During the tasting, you will sample a range of styles including white, rosé, red, sparkling wines, with a special focus on Croatia’s indigenous grape varieties.

 

As we taste each wine, we will explore:

• The winemakers and wineries behind the wines
• Croatia’s unique indigenous grape varieties
• The history of Croatian winemaking
• How climate, geography and winemaking techniques influence flavor
• Food pairing recommendations for every wine
• Wine tasting techniques and terminology

The classes are interactive and can be adapted to the interests of guests, whether you want to improve your tasting skills, learn wine vocabulary, or plan a wine-focused trip through Dalmatia.

Local appetizers and fresh bread will be served throughout the tasting. Toward the end of the experience, guests will enjoy a family-style dinner prepared by our chefs.

After the class, guests will receive a digital certificate of completion and a list of all wines tasted. Bottles of selected wines may also be available for purchase, subject to availability.
